- the conference calls will be recorded centrally on the server and made available to all members
What do I need ?

- a softphone ( this is an application that you can download from here )
- reliable Internet connection
How can I use it ?
- download your softphone from www.gizmoproject.com
- while installing it, you will be asked to create an account - do so (use a meaningful name)
- call the "number" for your conference room - this will be sent to you via email
- you will hear your Conference room greeting
- say your name and press #
- you will be notified about how many people have joined already - if you are the first one, you will hear some music
Enjoy IT
Notes
1. GIZMO is very similar with Skype but works differently ( it is not using peer to peer technology )
You will be able to use it for calling other people (including ones on "regular" phones as long as you purchased minutes/credits). Gizmo alows you to chat, SMS and even make video calls.
2. GIZMO is not working very well on Windows Vista. If you encounter problems, we can help you troubleshooting the issue or assign you an extension on our server that you can use with a different softphone. Please create a ticket or contact us .
3. It is highly recommended to put yourself on mute after joining the conference while you listening
This will minimize the background noise and improve quality of sound
4. You can also use Gizmo instant messaging and "chat" with the other participants
either on a "one on one" basis or by creating a chat group and inviting the ones you would like
